REQUIREMENTS
FRANCHISE STARTUP COSTS
All Chops & Eggs franchises have a franchise fee of $50,000 with multiple location discounts. Generally, an initial down payment is required when you purchase a Chops & Eggs franchise (30% of the total cost). The down payment must come from non-borrowed personal resources, which include cash on hand; securities, bonds, and debentures; vested profit sharing (net of taxes); and business or real estate equity, exclusive of your personal residence.
EQUIPMENT & PRE-OPENING COSTS
The size of the restaurant facility, area of the country, pre-opening expenses, inventory, selection of kitchen equipment, signage, and style of décor and landscaping will affect new restaurant costs. These costs are paid to suppliers. The total pre-opening cost are approximately 600K. The Franchisee/Operators must pay a percentage of the total costs of a new restaurant, and may finance the remainder from traditional sources. While Chops & Eggs does not offer financing, Chops & Eggs Franchisees/Operators enjoy the benefits of our established relationships with many national lending institutions.
ONGOING FEES & ROYALTIES
During the term of the franchise, you pay Chops & Eggs the following fees:

Royalty Fee: a monthly fee based upon the restaurant’s sales performance (currently a service fee of 5.0% of monthly sales).

Advertising Fee: an ongoing fee of 3% for marketing and advertising.
FRANCHISEE SELECTION
In order to ensure that each franchise is highly successful, we require all applicants to submit a FRANCHISE FORM and participate in a rather extensive evaluation process.
LOCATION
Site Selection is very important when it comes the success of a franchise. We require all franchises to be hosted in a geographical location with a population at a minimum of 100,000 residents.
TERM
A franchise term is 15 years for a traditional location.
